The Press Technician is an hourly union position that reports to the Press Room supervisor. The position requires working on any shift, at least 40 hours per week plus any scheduled overtime. Pay rate up to $23.50 an hour, until next union bargained increase.

Setting up and running stamping dies in transfer and progressive presses.

Review current settings and suggest/implement changes to improve the process.

Record all production and scrap produced during the shift to management.

Monitors press/dies and reports any abnormalities to management to have corrected.

Inspect all incoming material prior to running to validate it is correct.

Periodically inspects parts to ensure good quality parts are being produced.

Follow all safety guidelines in line with provided training.

Maintain a clean organized work area.

Additional duties as assigned in line with normal production settings.

Previous experience in stamping manufacturing required.

Ability to read, write and speak English effectively

Basic math skills required.

Previous overhead crane experience is helpful, but not required.
