The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for the complex molding tools, materials, and processes for injection molding machines. Also will be responsible for the training and development of process technicians

• Continually monitor and troubleshoot all processes related to injection molding and perform adjustments as needed to ensure jobs are running to standard rates (labor, cycle time, scrap rate, etc.)
• Assists with launches of new programs by building a new process to ensure quality production of parts and attends launch meetings prior to production start-up
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex injection molding processes using a wide variety of engineered and commodity type resins on a wide range of injection molding machinery
• Supports process improvement projects through design, procurement, installation and start-up of equipment
• Ensures presses are running correct cycle times and match what is documented
• Investigate new materials and determine molding parameters
• Implement process improvement projects safely in order to ensure safety, quality and productivity objectives are met
• Build communication and relationships with Supervisors
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance
• Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years experience in processing injection molding, automotive-based class A products preferred
• Ability to analyze and diagnosis complex machine/molding processes.
• Training and or mentoring experience within a manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal Supervision
