• Organize priorities and assign jobs in the tooling area
• Follows the maintenance plan and tool improvement plan
• Trains toolmakers and assists with any new projects, drawing checks, etc.
• Lead and maintain 5S
• Updates manager on job status, new projects, critical issues, etc.
• Ensures compliance with tooling planning
• Coordinates with production planning and implements engineering changes
• Maintains work orders and department inventory
• Works with outside vendors

• Journeyman level Tool & Die
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with transfer presses
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
